In November Jonathan Westlake, Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Digital Tech of Staffordshire University and Destiny project lead, delivered a talk at FutureFest 2017, the annual careers and employability fair held across campus.
“Destiny project – Enhancing Employability with MOOCs” was delivered at an Erasmus+ event at the universities ‘International Week’ from 13th to 17th November.
19 representatives from European universities attended the talk and contacts were made for future collaboration.
FutureFest is an opportunity for employers to exhibit, lead talks and seminars and offer a range of information and opportunities, making it a fantastic opportunity to promote Destiny.
One to one meetings with University Employability Advisors gives students and work seekers the opportunity to talk about all things career-related, including CV writing, career planning and interview techniques.
FutureFest is a great opportunity for networking, learning techniques from successful entrepreneurs and to find out about self-employment support at Staffordshire University.
